R.A.C.E. Swim Team Info

Unfortunately, the 2020 swim meetings have been cancelled. We are working to find an option to still host practices and lessons with the assistance of our incredible staff. Details, following all ODH guidelines, will follow soon.

For those of you that I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet, my name is Jaclyn Kiko. I am currently an animal nutrition and sciences major at West Virginia University where I teach swim lessons. I graduated from Louisville High School in 2019, where I swam 2 years and spent 1 year as captain. I was a member of the Alliance Y Flyers swim team for 3 years and have been a part of R.A.C.E. for 8 years (6 years as a team member and 2 years as a coach). I have also been a staff member at the ACC pool for 3 years. As a previous swimmer and now a coach of R.A.C.E., I understand it’s importance and tradition and strive to uphold those values as I move the team forward. I am also very excited to welcome Logan Ison as your assistant coach this summer and look forward to getting to work with him! I look forward to another awesome summer at the ACC pool doing what I love with the amazing people involved with the team. I encourage all of you to consider joining the team, even though meets will not be happening, as we are working through details to host and strengthen your abilities!

My name is Logan Ison. I am a 2020 graduate of Louisville High School and plan on attending Walsh University this fall where I will major in Exercise Science with the hope of becoming a Physical Therapist. Swimming has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started competitively swimming at the Massillon Aquatic Club (MAC) when I was in first grade and then moved to the Louisville YMCA team in fourth grade when I moved schools. I then continued to swim until my freshman year when I decided to take a break from the sport to focus on cross country and track. I still have a passion for the sport and that’s why I decided to become a coach this summer. I also plan to compete for Walsh this upcoming year on their cross country and track teams. I look forward to working with all of you this season.
