Special Tennis Precautions Taken By ACC, Per ODH COVID-19 Guidelines

Information will constantly be updated on the club's website for reference, along with email communications. Signs and documents with verbiage will also be posted at the courts to provide reminders and information to take precautionary measures on preventing the spread of the virus. Here are some of the highlighted bullet points.

Please stay at home if you are sick or do not feel well, especially related to the symptom list on our COVID-19 link above.

Maintain six-foot or more social distancing between individuals in all areas.

No gathering in groups of more than 10.

Arrive no more than 10 minutes early, or wait in your car, or in the spaced out designated areas that our Pro Greg Parrish will have available. Players should not loiter before or after playing. Note, our food and beverage operation is up and running! Stop over to the dining areas where our tables are safely placed with proper procedures already running.

Please wait until called to the court, or until the group ahead of you has clearly left the court to avoid cross traffic on and off the courts.

When switching sides of the court, please cross on opposite sides.

"No touch rule". Refrain from high fives, handshakes, and other physical contact with people.

Avoid using your hand to pick up balls. Use your racquet or foot to get balls back to your opponent or another court.

Use your own tennis balls. Example, clearly mark yours or use a different color.

While it is not mandatory, please consider wearing facial coverings while entering any buildings around the club's campus. Greg will be wearing one while at the club for your protection.

Practice good hygiene, washing hands often, refrain from touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Cough and sneeze into in elbow is the best practice should it occur. Hand sanitizer is also available at the courts for your convenience.

The communal water and towels will not be available for the time being.

The restroom and hand sink at the pool house will be available, and cleaned on a scheduled basis by the pool staff. Until the pool fully opens, please use the open back door of the pool house to enter the solo restroom and lock the door behind you. This will ensure only one person will be in the restroom area at a time. Following the opening of the pool, further instructions, traffic flow and floor plans will be released.

Leagues Lessons & Notes

All Junior Tennis Leagues have been cancelled for the upcoming season. Lessons for kids will still be available individually and in small settings. All social distancing guidelines will obviously be in place for the safety of everyone involved. Kids are still very much encouraged to play tennis, just following the guidelines listed above.

Men's Night is currently on hold, as communications will be sent out once a decision has been made for the season or if guidelines change in the near future. Lessons and play is the same as the kids blurb above.
