GOLF, COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
All of us at Alliance Country Club have taken every precautionary measure to ensure the safety to our staff, members and guests. During the last few weeks, we appreciate everyone's cooperation and understanding during some different times with the game of golf. The current guidelines have and will continue to be followed until state orders change.
First and foremost, all social distancing guidelines must continue to be followed. Six feet distancing from the parking lot to the course and after. If possible, please park spaces away from each other to ensure this distance when unloading and loading.
Modifications of the cup have been made. The grounds crew have installed soft cushions that wrap around the bottom of the flagstick. This makes the "bottom of the cup" higher, yet easy enough for the ball to still fall into the cup.
All flagsticks are sanitized regularly but please do not touch them.
Course restrooms and community water coolers have not be in use.
All rakes have been removed from the traps.
Tee times must be made, 330-821-2828, especially due to prepping of cart sanitation. Groups have been limited to three per tee time, and spaced out an extra five minutes.
All carts are sanitized before and after each use.
After completing a round, all carts must be returned to the golf shop for sanitation. Congregating after the round in groups of more than ten people or less than six feet apart is prohibited. All results and prizes will be posted through email.
While email registration is preferred, the golf shop is open for signups.
We appreciate your patience and understanding through "modified events", as formats and things such as meetings and pre or post round meals may differ than years past. Dates and times are also subject to change.
The Golf Shop is open with state recommended and mandatory orders, the following precautionary measures have been taken.
A hand sanitizer station and COVID-19 symptom flyers are located on the north door. Sanitizers are also located throughout the shop.
Of the three doors of the shop, the north door (cart staging area) will be used as the entrance and the south door (closest to putting green) will be used as the exit. The door facing the parking lot will be used for employees only.
Gloves and masks will be worn by staff at all times.
Floor signage will direct traffic flow throughout the shop.
Stations are set six feet apart near the cash register for your safety.
Golf Shop design has been changed to limit the amount of touching merchandise. All merchandise is easily accessible but if possible, please do not touch items unless you plan to purchase them.
Maximum occupancy is ten people including staff members. Please be cautious before entering and moving forward into the shop. Safest plan is to call ahead if you need assistance for merchandise, bag storage/removal, or signing up for events or tee times.
